Spring Concert

The Lakeshore Youth Philharmonic and Sinfonia orchestras will present their spring concert at 3:00 PM Sunday, May 4 at Reuther Auditorium in Kenosha.

The two ensembles consist of dedicated string, woodwind, brass and percussion middle school and high school musicians from the Southeast Wisconsin area.

The Sinfonia, conducted by Ms. Diana Iorio, will perform the "Sinfonia in F" by Antonio Vivaldi, "Down by the Salley Gardens" arranged by Jack Bullock, "Tango dAmour" by Susan H. Day, "Agincourt by Doug Spata, and "Aria Ready for a Little Opera?" arranged by Carrie Lane Gruselle.

Concert admission is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students. Ages 13 and under are free. Tickets will be available at the door, from any orchestra member, or by contacting us directly.

The purpose of the Lakeshore Youth Philharmonic is to enrich the lives of young people within a musical community, by providing the finest possible classical music orchestral training, practice and performance opportunities, enabling our students to learn, share and enjoy the power of music in a culturally enriching environment.

The LYP has always been characterized by gifted musicians, dedicated conductors, challenging music and exciting and exacting performances.
